We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients, focusing on their physical, emotional, and developmental needs. This role requires a strong commitment to family-centered care and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

• Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients, including physical examinations and health history evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses in children.
• Perform procedures such as phlebotomizing, cardiac catheterization, and family planning as needed.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education and support to families regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers in case management to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize electronic health records system Practice Fusion for documentation and patient management.
• Ensure the proper use of durable medical equipment (DME) for patients requiring assistive devices.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Pediatric Nurse Practitioner studies.
• Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
• Strong clinical skills with at least 2 years of experience in pediatric or family care setting.
• Familiarity with case management principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Knowledge of pediatric health issues, treatments, and interventions is essential.
